The following belong to our main current activities:

Fire resistance testing on all kinds of construction products

Tests are performed on test chambers meeting the parameters of all EN standards (vertical furnace 3 m x 3 m, two horizontal furnaces 4 m x 3 m and since 2010 also vertical furnace 5 m x 5 m). We carry out tests of smoke control doors also (test chamber 3 m x 3 m).

We are capable of carrying out the full range of horizontal and vertical constructions, both loadbearing and non-loadbearing (apart from columns), service installations, fire protection systems of constructions, and smoke and heat exhaust systems in accord with the up-to-date state of published as well as in-process European and some national standards (DIN 4102-12 - fire testing of cable systems with circuit integrity maintenance).

We use up to date standards for extended applications (EXAP) and documents from FSG (group of notified bodies) to perform testing with additional measurements so that test results can be applied to the widest possible range of product variations under the rules of extended applications.

Testing of aerodynamic efficiency of smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (SHEV)

We perform evaluation of aerodynamic free area of SHEV based on tests of products or scaled models of products in our wind tunnel. We can produce scaled models for tests based on drawings from producer.

Reaction to fire testing for all Euroclasses (A1 through E)

We cary out tests for the classification to Euroclasses according to EN 13501-1, test of external fire roof exposure, method t1 and t4. Test for floor coverings are outsourced.

Testing of physical and mechanical properties on fillings of structural openings

Our range of testing covers mechanical tests on doors needed for conformity attestation (leaf toughness, impact resistance, cycling testing), physical testing (air permeability, water tightness, wind resistance), and burglar resistance testing.

Mechanical test on doors are carried out in a separate testing frame or on a specimen built into supporting construction for fire resistance tests.

Physical tests are carried out in test chamber 4 m x 3 m, which can be tilted by 360°. Burglar resistance tests are carried out as a service accredited by the SNAS.
